About the event
Give your defenseman two focused days to become more reliable, confident and effective in every zone.
Designed for defensemen ages 10–14, the Defenseman Impact Camp combines position-specific video instruction, off-ice preparation and four total hours of on-ice development.
Each day follows a connected development process. Players will first study the habits and decisions of high-level defensemen through USHL and NHL video.
They will then prepare the necessary movement patterns during the off-ice session before applying them through focused repetitions, pressure situations and competitive drills on the ice.
The objective is not simply to complete defense drills. Every segment is designed to help defensemen control their gaps, retrieve pucks with a plan, escape pressure, make cleaner first passes, and contribute to transition.
